Little Black Book

Visceral is currently developing this original rock musical about the life and times of Heidi Fleiss, conceived by Billy Recce and Will Nunziata, book, music and lyrics by Billy Recce.  The concept album is now available on Broadway Records.

LITTLE BLACK BOOK is a theatrical rock concert as sung by the  Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss.
When the down on her luck former Hollywood Madam—now a recluse and caring for forty parrots in a shack in Nevada—is offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sell the names in her infamous “Little Black Book”—something she has never done—Heidi must grapple with the memories that have kept her in isolation for 25 years.

Backed by an all-female rock band, Heidi muses on how she's been wronged by powerful and manipulative men in an industry based on the exploitation of women, and clamors to tell her side of a story distorted by the media. LITTLE BLACK BOOK is a sharp-tongued, raucous, and ultimately moving 90-minute ride, examining a woman who flew too close to the sun and the society that caged her for it.

LITTLE BLACK BOOK takes us directly into Heidi’s macaw enclosure. When Heidi steps in front of a microphone, the space transforms into the 1990s Beverly Hills party scene that Heidi controlled... and she wants you to come along for the ride.

Intimate in scale but epic in scope, LITTLE BLACK BOOK is more than a musical.

It is an event. It is a reconciliation. It is a celebration.  And it’s a hell of a lot of fun.
